After spending most of her life drawing, doodling, and not paying attention in math, Tracie Valentino decided to put her creativity to work and go to art school. A year into college, she took a computer graphics class and was introduced to the Mac (System 7!) and Adobe Photoshop where she found that instead of being at the mercy of a bottle of cheap dye, pink hair could be just as easily obtained with a click of the mouse.

Today Tracie is an award-winning graphic designer whose 10 year career spans both print and web. She still doesn't pay much mind to math; except, of course, when it comes to a shoe sale.
